Why Donate to BOO?

Contributions made to BOO receive FULL donor credit and recognition from both Brandeis Hillel and Brandeis University!!  That means that by giving to BOO, your gift is triple counted!

BOO provides observant students at Brandeis University with social, religious, and educational outlets that cater to their needs. BOO’s membership exceeds two hundred students, who all utilize BOO in order to enrich their Jewish and social experiences on campus.  BOO provides three daily minyanim, and a vibrant beit midrash that is open to all, containing an extensive collection of sefarim and Judaic texts. Additionally, BOO provides a regular schedule of classes on a variety of topics ranging from Bible study and Talmud to philosophy and contemporary Jewish issues. All students, whether at the beginning, intermediate or advanced level, are challenged and enticed by the wide array of classes, lectures, and study groups offered by BOO. Additionally, through social programming, BOO offers students the framework to foster a sense of community with other Jews.

*Celebration of the Arts and Culture Showcase

*Off-Campus Sporting Events
*Ice Skating
*Sharing Cultures with BBSO (Brandeis Black Student Organization)
*Concerts (such as Shlomo Katz, Soulfarm, Moshav, and more!)
*Purchasing books for the Beit Midrash
*Inter-Collegiate Shabbatonim

Donations enable the Brandeis Orthodox Organization to maintain and expand its successful programming, services, and social events.
