BOO ELECTIONS INFORMATION:

GENERAL MEETING:
FEATURING CANDIDATES FORUM

Come to the BOO General Meeting featuring Candidates Forum!
The agenda for the evening is given below:

I. Become a Member-Sign up to be a member so that you can vote regarding tzedekah, amendments, and elections. At the bottom of this page is the membership list organized by class year. Check to see if you're a member and if not, sign up!
II. Tzedekah Allocations-As a community, we have raised a tremendous amount of tzedekah. Voice your opinion and cast your vote as to the allocation of these funds.
III. Amendment Voting-The proposed amendment deals with the rules regarding official membership. Located at the bottom of this page is the document regarding the proposed amendment and the rules of passing amendments to the BOO Constitution.
IV. Candidates Forum-The candidates for each position will each deliver a two-minute speech and answer questions from the community. The presidential candidates will each deliver a five-minute speech and also answer questions from the community.
V. Open Forum-Have your voice heard. Share any opinons or concerns about anything with the rest of the community.

Many individuals believe that they are already Official Voting Members, however, when it comes time to vote, they find out that they are not, therefore, located at the bottom of the page is the Official Voting Member List, divided by class year & alphabitized. Please check and ensure that you are already a member, and if not, make sure to sign up at the General Meeting. Of course, everybody is highly encouraged to become a member, simply by signing up at the General Meeting. One may also become a BOO member by petitioning the President, Katie Schlussel.

RUN FOR BOO BOARD

If you are interested in running for BOO Board in the upcoming elections, now is your chance. BOO Board is a fantastic way to get involved in the community. One page platforms will be due Sunday, November 30th by midnight to Noam Kagedan. The general meeting with candidates' forum will take place on Monday, December 1st (right after Thanksgiving) with elections on Tuesday. If you are interested in running for a board position, talk to current board members about their experiences and what is involved. Everyone is encouraged to run. Check out the BOO Constitution for more details on the positions.
